Vail Valley Foundation signs PowerShares QQQ as national sponsor for 2015 Worlds

The Vail Valley Foundation, host and organizer of the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail and Beaver Creek, announced that PowerShares QQQ (NASDAQ: QQQ), an exchange-traded fund based on the Nasdaq-100 Index®,has signed on as a National Sponsor.

Scheduled from February 215 of 2015, the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships are expected to showcase athletes from over 70 nations, with an estimated 750 million worldwide television viewers and an onsite media and broadcast entourage of 1,500 members.

The FIS Alpine World Championships are the second largest ski racing event in the world, after only the Olympics.  2015 will mark the fourth Championships held in the United States, and the third time that the Vail Valley will host this momentous international event.
