Vail Global Energy Forum scheduled for March 1-2

The third annual Vail Global Energy Forum will kick off with a robust schedule of distinguished speakers March 1-2, 2014 and will include an Energy Village Expo on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. The Energy Village is a fun, family friendly expo area with interactive booths and demonstrations about new energy technologies and initiatives.

VGEF_EnergyVillage_2014This year’s participants of the VGEF Energy Village includes American Petroleum Institute, Holy Cross Energy, TESLA Motors, Eagle Valley Land Trust, Nokero, Gr8Lakes Essentials, Rocky Mountain Energy Forum, and Solar Rollers. The first 100 people to visit will receive a free N200 solar lamp from Nokero Solar.

The Energy Village is open to the public and serves as a way to bring the Forum’s energy discussions and innovations outside of the building’s walls, allowing the larger community to become involved and get educated on new energy developments.

In addition to the Energy Village, participants have the option of purchasing day passes, priced at $135 per day, to the Vail Global Energy Forum on Saturday, March 1 or Sunday, March 2. This year’s list of VGEF speakers includes George Shultz, Former Secretary of State, John Hickenlooper, Governor of Colorado, Jim Brown, President, Halliburton, Arun Majumdar, Vice President of Energy, Google, and more.
