Season passes will be available for purchase at discounted rates through Nov. 22 and will cost $80 for adults, $70 for Vail residents and $40 for students. Beginning Nov. 22, passes will cost $90 for adults, $80 for Vail residents and $50 for students. Daily fees for the 2015-16 season will be $8 and children under 12 years of age will be free.

The Nordic Center retail shop, located in a temporary structure at the Vail Golf Club, will also offer a variety of merchandise for outdoor endurance sports, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, running and hiking, as well as skate, classic and backcountry skis and snowshoes.
The annual Vail Nordic Center Ski Swap will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 as a fundraiser for the Vail Nordic Club.
The Vail Nordic Center celebrates its 33rd year this season and owner Mia Stockdale is looking forward to a great winter. Stockdale, who co-owns the Nordic Center with Shane Sluder, says the track will open when conditions permit and will offer 17 kilometers of groomed ski trails and 10 kilometers of separate snowshoe trails. “The recent snowfall and cooler temperatures have gotten us excited for the upcoming season,” said Stockdale. “This is our 10th season of operating the Nordic Center and each year we’ve seen tremendous growth in the Nordic community throughout the Vail Valley. We’re really looking forward to another great season.”
The Nordic Center will once again serve as the home track for Battle Mountain High and Vail Mountain School’s Nordic teams, plus athletes from Ski and Snowboard Club Vail.
The Vail Nordic Center is owned and operated by Stockdale and Shane Sluder. The Vail Recreation District maintains the trails.
