Vail Resorts’ Epic Pass adds a bunch of Canadian ski areas, goes on sale

Vail Resorts’ popular Epic Pass season ski pass went on sale Tuesday for the 2018-19 ski season after the company on Monday added a slew of new Canadian resorts to the mix.

On tap for snow riders with an Epic Pass next season are six more Canadian resorts, adding to its Whistler-Blackcomb resort. Also in British Columbia, Vail added Fernie Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and Kimberley Alpine Resort. The Epic Pass also includes Nakiska in Alberta and Mont Sainte Anne and Stoneham in Quebec.

BROOMFIELD, Colo. – March 6, 2018 – Vail Resorts continues to offer the best value in skiing and snowboarding for Colorado families with the combination of an Epic Local Pass for parents and the free Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack for two children, kindergarten through fifth grade, for the 2018-19 winter season. The Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack offers four free days of skiing and snowboarding each at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone for a total of 16 days. With the purchase of two Epic Local adult passes at $669 each, a family of four can ski or snowboard up to 16 days at Colorado’s four premier resorts for just under $21 per person per day.

A child pass (ages five to 12) is $469.
  • Epic Local Pass™: For $669, receive unlimited and unrestricted skiing or riding at Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Wilmot, Afton Alps and Mt. Brighton with limited restrictions at Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, and Stowe, plus a combined total of 10 days at Vail, Beaver Creek, and Whistler Blackcomb with holiday restrictions.
