Vail Golf Club open and offering early season discounts

The Vail Golf Club is pleased to celebrate 50 years of golf in the beautiful Vail Valley this summer after opening up for play Sunday, May 15. The course has 18 holes of golf available for play, with the first tee time at 9:30 a.m. The new fleet of electric golf carts will be arriving on June 1, and bike carts are available now.

vail golf clubNew this year, the Vail Recreation District is offering season pass sales online, featuring an array of options for golfers. Click here to view pass rates and purchase your pass online. There has been no increase in pass pricing over 2015. Season passes and punch cards are also available for purchase at the Vail Golf Club Pro Shop, by calling 970-479-2260 and by emailing aplain@vailrec.com. Pass prices will go up on June 1, so don’t miss out on the early bird discount.

Golf Operations

Golf operations and the pro shop for the 2016 summer will be headquartered in the temporary structure located adjacent to the driving range and near the starter building. Parking will be available in the lot south of the new building construction, and will be actively managed by the Vail Recreation District to coincide with construction needs. Clubhouse 
The clubhouse renovation project is moving along quickly, with the cart barn area scheduled to be completed for the new Club Car fleet of 70 electric cars arriving on June 1. The anticipated date of completion is September 1, 2016. The newly renovated clubhouse will feature expanded pro and Nordic shop facilities, the Grill on the Gore restaurant serving golfers and the public, expansive outdoor seating areas and new locker rooms, among many other improvements. An enhanced community banquet room will feature gorgeous views of the Gore Mountain Range and seating for events of up to 160 people. Bookings are now being accepted for weddings, meetings and social gatherings after October 1. The wedding island will still be available for rent throughout this summer.
