Eagle County sheriff seeks help solving recent burglaries

The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help solving three burglaries in Edwards and Eagle last week.

eagle county sheriff logoOn Thursday, Oct. 24, deputies responded to three locations (two in Edwards and one in Eagle) where homes were burglarized with no apparent forced entry.  In all three cases, the suspect entered homes by using an unlocked front door while the residents were away.

Computers, cell phones and jewelry worth approximately $10,000 were stolen.

The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office is reminding residents that, although we live in a rural community, people should keep their doors and windows locked.

Anyone with any information about the suspects or the crimes should call the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office at (970) 328-8500 or Eagle County Crime Stoppers at 970-328-7007, 1-800-972-TIPS.

Submit a tip online at www.tipsubmit.com or text a tip via cell phone by to STOPCRIME plus a message to CRIMES (274637).  If a tip leads to the arrest and indictment of any suspect involved, tipsters can earn up to  $1,000 reward from Crime Stoppers.
