Studio Anjali hosting free Winter Solstice Celebration

Special candlelight ceremony to be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21st

Please join Studio Anjali at The Athletic Club at The Westin for a special Winter Solstice Celebration on Friday, Dec. 21st from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This Winter Solstice celebration – free and open to the community - is a chance to gather with friends, renew your spirit and honor the sacredness of life. Studio Anjali will transform itself into a cathedral of light for this special candlelit ceremony designed to usher us along our individual and communal paths. Led by Studio Anjali instructor Suzanne Oliver, we will share poetry and stories of Solstice tidings and celebrate the people in our lives and the breath that we breathe, while releasing the things that no longer serve us. Please join us to laugh, play and gather in peace as the Earth moves back towards the light.

Following the ceremony, everyone is invited to gather at Cima to share hot chocolate or cider as we warm ourselves by the fire.

Studio Anjali at The Westin Riverfront offers an extensive schedule of class times and styles, including Vinyasa Flow, Hot Flow, Foundations, Anusara, Anjali Restorative, Kundalini and Meditation.
